Owner Estie Cruz-Curoe was born in Cuba and moved to the United States as a child. Her beans are made in the traditional Cuban method, only in small batches, which means they are hand-made with the slow cooked method and fresh, quality ingredients.

Packaged with the modern culinary convenience of a prepared bean-banquet, they aren’t just an instant-tasty-feast maker, they’re nutritious too. del Carmen’s product line is expanding and the company is looking to open additional locations outside of the St. Louis area to better serve other cities. All products must be stored frozen or refrigerated and are easy to heat up in the microwave. Welcome to an enlightened state of bean!
